Pony Riding and Horse Drawn Carriage Trails

 

The land of the horse

Ireland is the known as the Land of the Horse, so if you are visiting Ireland it is an unwritten law that you have to experience an Equestrian Trail!!    It is the only way to really see Ireland.  Can't ride, thats not a problem, join us in our horse drawn carriage.

 

 

Trails leave at 10am and 1pm daily.

 

 

 

On each trail we will offer Pony rides and carriage rides, perfect for the family that has a mixture of riders and non riders.  Our Carriage can also cater for wheelchair users.  So no one has any excuse not to experience the Land of the Horse.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1 & 2  hour Trails

 

These leave our Equestrian Centre every morning at 10. am.   Wonderful scenery, experience our history and heritage in a fun and engaging way. And most of all have loads of FUN!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prices:

1 hour trail:

Carriage ride: €15 per person

Horse / Pony ride: €20 per person

 

2 Hour trail:

Carriage ride: €30 per person

Horse/ pony: €40 per person

 

 

4 Hour Trail

 

This leaves our equestrian Centre every day at 13.00.  This is a longer trail through Kyleback forest and over the Slieve Aughty mountains.  Superb scenery as we trek through the forest, and the views from the Slieve Aughty mountains are nothing short of fantastic.  Its a place not yet frequented by many tourists so its beauty is still natural and unspoiled. Catch sight of the native deer as they graze in the forests, pass by the native bogs and learn about their conservation and see lots of historical ruins.

 

Prices:  Carriage ride:  €40 per person   

Horse / Pony ride €90 per person

If Horse / Pony riding please arrive 1/2 hour early to allow time so you can be matched with your horse or pony and tacked up.
