Come join us on an amazing equestrian tour through the Slieve Aughty Mountains, a place where time and history collide with some breathtaking scenery. The history of Ireland is marked indelibly on these mountains. From the the impact of the penal laws, to the utter devastation of the Great famine right up to modern times and the windmills of Derrybrien, we will bear witness to the chronicles of history.

We will be setting out from our riding centre in Loughrea after you have been assessed by our team and assigned your horse or pony according to your riding abilities.

· Forest trails, ancient tracks and old bog road through the Slieve Aughty Mountains

· Riding through picturesque valleys with stunning views

· Views of 5 counties – Galway, Clare, Tipperary, Offaly and Mayo

· Historical sites and monuments such as Penal Mass Rocks, Famine Villages & Lime Kilns
