Payment and Deposit

 

A non refundable deposit of 20% must be paid before the booking can be confirmed.

The balance of the fee must be paid at least 4 weeks before the start of the holiday.

Payment can be made by direct transfer to our bank account. Please ensure you provide your details on the transfer to avoid confusion.

 

Cancellation

 

A cancellation can only be accepted if it is sent to us by letter or email.  Your deposit is non refundable.

 

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

 

Cancellation between 2 and 4 weeks prior to arrival               50%

Cancellation between 1 and 2 weeks prior to arrival               75%

Cancellation 1 week prior to arrival                                           100%

 

The cancellation fee is dependent on the date we receive notification of your cancellation.

 

No refunds or adjustments will be made for portions of the trip or services not used by the customer.

 

Insurance

 

Equestrian Activities are risk sports.  It is recommended that all customers take out personal accident as well as travel insurance, as Loughrea Equestrian Centre can in no way be held responsible for accident, loss, damage or injury to the person or baggage.  Loughrea Equestrian Centre holds no responsibility for damage, injury or otherwise during the course of your vacation.

 

Riding Gear and Clothing

 

Riders must ensure that they have appropriate riding footwear and wear suitable outdoor clothing. Please ensure that you bring adequate rain gear.

 

Etiquette

 

For all our customers enjoyment and safety, it is expected that all our customers conduct themselves in a reasonable manner at all times.  Instructions given by your ride leader or any  person in authority must be obeyed.  Our customers must be respectful of each other and the enviroment. Loughrea Equestrian Centre, reserves the right, for any reason, to request the non complying person(s) to leave the tour at their own expense. No refund will be made for any portion of an unused tour.

 

Loughrea Equestrian Centre subscribes to the "Leave no Trace" ethos and expects its customers to adhere to its principles.

 

Items not included in the price

 

If you are booking a package which included hotel accomadation, you are liable for all incidentals eg. room service, beverages, phone calls, laundry services, lunches and meals not detailed in your package, pay per view TV, etc. Please ensure that all personal costs are settled with the hotel before departure.

 

Loughrea Equestrian Centre is not responsible for ensuring that you have the correct visas, passports etc for travelling to Ireland.

 

Third Parties

 

We do not own or operate the hotels which will be providing your accommodation.  The hotels where we book your accommodation  operate to the highest standard, but we cannot accept and we expressly exclude, all and any liability for the actions of any third party  whom we have no direct control over.  In the very unlikely event of a dispute however we will give good faith assistance to help resolve any dispute you may have.

 

 

Tour cancellation by Loughrea Equestrian Centre

 

in the very unlikely event that a tour is cancelled by Loughrea Equestrian Centre, Loughrea Equestrian Centre will have no responsibility beyond the full refund of monies paid by customers.

 

We do not however accept liability for any altercation, delay or cancellation caused by war, riot or civil strife, terrorist acitivity, industrial disputes, natural disaster, fire, sickness, weather conditions, acts of any airport, government or public authority, technical problems to transport, airport regulations, temporary technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within your accommodation, or Acts of God.
